Maria Nordgren’s work is thrown porcelain and stoneware, high fired in electrical, gas or wood fired kilns. She is also exhibiting work made in collaboration with basket maker Rachel Bower, Forfar. Joining Maria at the pottery are Christine Flynn (ceramics), David McGovern (stone), Rachel Bower (baskets), Lorna Radbourne (glass), Janet Brellisford (wool) and Ros MacDonald (prints).
There will be demonstrations of stone carving, stained glass work, willow weaving, spinning, eco printing, linocut and more. The outdoor raku firings by Christine are only on Friday, 10am-noon and 2-4pm, but she will be back the following weekend for more firings.
