Maïté creates colourful baskets, bags and other accessories using the traditional craft of crochet. She works exclusively with twine from Nutscene, a Scottish brand located in Angus. Maïté designs and handmakes all her simple yet practical items using original patterns, mixing modern shapes and colours, reinventing the “golden fibre” so closely linked to the Dundee area.
