16 - Kristine Blackbourn

Raku Ceramics  £5 - £150

Open 10 - 5 Fri-Mon

Raku pottery is a very natural process; the mixing of clay and water, followed by tempering in fire and smoke. This simple process can nonetheless produce beautiful and unpredictable patterns in the finished pieces. Kristine also uses Saggar and Pit firing. Pottery is made to be enjoyed by sight and touch with a wide range of textures and colours through these techniques. Come along and try out Block Printing and Gelli Pirinting. If you enjoy doing it, you can print your own gift wrap and cards.
