Trained at DoJCA in the 70s, Calum scraped a living running Bloom Farm Pottery in West Lothian and produced domestic stoneware until 1981. A career change followed until retiral in 2016 and a return to making pots. Calum is now in a new workshop in Newtyle producing a range of individual pieces in white earthenware.

Directions: Newtyle can be approached from four different directions - North from Dundee on the B954. South from Alyth and Meigle on the B954. West from Glamis. East from Coupar Angus. Bulb Farm Road is off the Newtyle to Glamis road opposite the railway walk car park in North Street. Look out for the blue house - you can’t miss it!
