Alison likes old buildings. She started researching the Dundee Jute mills a few years ago, and accidentally wrote a whole book about them! Crafting with Jute soon followed as her interest in the fibre grew further, and from this came “Jist Jute”.

Directions: Walk down “Bank Close” in Kirriemuir town centre, and take the first left. The workspace is within a traditional red sandstone terraced house. The door has a woodland wreath on it, and lots of plants.
